Job Description

  • Full-time, max-term position until June 2026 
  • Based in Ringwood East, on the lands of the Wurundjeri People + Flexible workplace  
  • $54.35 per hour + 11.5% Super + Salary Packaging benefits of up to $18,550     

Many women, girls and gender diverse people do not have access to timely, affordable, or culturally safe sexual and reproductive healthcare, with this being further exacerbated within rural and regional areas. The purpose of the Virtual Women’s Health clinic is to ensure equitable access to the quality care they need across their whole lifespan, regardless of where they live. This no-cost, hybrid phone and video consultation service will deliver interdisciplinary and comprehensive healthcare, leveraging on our existing expertise in working with vulnerable and diverse communities and delivering women’s health programs.   

Your Role, Your Impact  
As a Registered Nurse in Sexual Reproductive Health, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, confidential care that will help to shape a healthier future for our diverse communities. You’ll work alongside a supportive, multidisciplinary team, helping to shape a healthier future for those who need it most. 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Client Assessment & Care: Utilising telehealth platforms, you will deliver comprehensive sexual and reproductive health services and provide health education. 

  • Goal Setting: Enable clients to establish manageable goals and develop a plan to address these. 

  • Confidentiality & Compliance: Ensure client privacy, uphold ethical standards, and follow clinical protocols. 

  • Care Coordination & Navigation: Support the client to eliminate any barriers to initiating and maintaining involvement with health professionals or services and support service navigation and linkage.  

  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records and timely reporting for continuity of care and compliance with professional standards. 

  • Quality Improvement & Stakeholder Engagement: Contribute to service development and build strong relationships with external providers. 

  • Team Collaboration & Development: Foster a positive team environment, participate in ongoing learning, and engage in clinical supervision.

Who We’re Looking For 
If you're a passionate and dedicated Registered Nurse with a heart for women's health, we’d love to hear from you! We’re seeking a minimum Grade 2 Year 4 Registered Nurse with a strong background in women's health, who is skilled at managing complex cases and providing compassionate, client-centered care in a culturally safe environment.

Key Skills & Experience: 

  • Clinical & Case Management: Experience in women’s health and managing complex clinical cases. 

  • Client-Centered & Culturally Safe Care: Skilled at building rapport and providing inclusive, compassionate care. 

  • Communication & Efficiency: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to manage your time effectively. 

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with external providers. 

  • Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using digital health platforms and medical software. 

  • Community Health: Understanding of the social model of health and experience working with culturally diverse clients. 

Mandatory Qualifications 

  • Nursing Qualification: Bachelor of Applied Science (Nursing) or equivalent.  

  • Registration: Division 1 Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
