Frontend Developer Intern
Eaton’s Corporate Sector division is currently seeking a Frontend Developer Intern.
The hourly rate for this position is $22.15-$37.50 per hour.

What you’ll do:
Eaton’s Enterprise Sector Distributed Energy Resource Management Solutions (DERMS) Center of Excellence is seeking a Front-end developer intern in our Moon Township, PA location.

As a member of the Distributed Energy Resource Management Solutions (DERMS) Center of Excellence (CoE), you will work closely with our designers and developers to create an engaging and user-friendly Configurable Single-line-diagram web application, a versatile web UI to promote consistency across software products company-wide. This internship offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in front-end development and contribute to real-world projects.
Essential Functions:
• Collaborate with the development team to design and implement user interfaces for web applications.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using React and Typescript.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of responsive web app designs.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Qualifications:
Basic qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum cumulative 3.0 GPA or higher.
- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.
- Relocation/transportation is not provided for this role. Candidate must reside within a 50-mile radius of this Eaton location.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs and how frontend applications interact with backend services.
- Experience using Git for version control (GitHub, Bitbucket).
- Familiarity with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js is a plus.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills and eagerness to learn.
