After a few years, we decided we wanted to do more; in 2014, we opened our factory in Winnsboro, SC making Element the only major television company assembling TVs in the United States. Today, we continue to push ourselves, and have expanded our product range of electronics and home appliances while continuing to provide customers with products with the latest technology, but at the most accessible prices.

 

The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately and efficiently inputting, updating, and maintaining operational data related to inbound and outbound containers, inventory, and general plant operations. This role ensures data integrity organization and reporting by managing records in company databases and tracking systems. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proficient in data entry software, and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

The essential functions (i.e., key responsibilities with expected end results) which must be accomplished to fulfill the purpose of the position includes but is not limited to: 


Data Entry & Record Management: 

  • Accurately enter and update inbound and outbound container records, and operational reports into internal databases and tracking systems. 
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing shipments to support plant operations. 
  • Maintain well-organized electronic and physical records for quick retrieval and reference. 

Data Verification & Accuracy: 

  • Cross-check entered data against shipment data sheets and outbound schedules, and other records to ensure accuracy and completeness. 
  • Identify and correct errors, inconsistencies, or missing information in data entries. 
  • Regularly review and update inventory movement records to prevent discrepancies. 

Collaboration & Communication: 

  • Work closely with warehouse, security, and operations teams to track and verify shipment details. 
  • Support internal teams by providing real-time data and reports as needed. 

Reporting & Documentation: 

  • Generate and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inbound and outbound shipment, movement, and operational data. 
  • Organize and maintain documentation related to material transactions 
  • Assist in tracking and documenting any shipment delays or issues for operational review. 

All other duties as assigned  

Requirements

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE:

The specialized knowledge or skill (e.g., technical, scientific, administrative, managerial) which the position requires includes: 

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent 
  • 1-3 years of experience in data entry or shipment tracking (preferred).  
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and database software (traffic track preferred experience).  
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.  
  • Ability to work collaboratively with security, warehouse, and logistics teams.  
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve shipment discrepancies.  
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations, Logistics and  supply chain processes is a plus.  
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will utilize computers, printing machines, and communicate through digital technology. 


Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Requires sitting for extended periods, using hands for data input, and reviewing detailed documents. 
  • Occasionally required to lift and move up to 25 pounds. 
  • Requires close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus for data accuracy. 

Work Environment: 

  • Office setting with standard office equipment (computer, scanner, printer, etc.). 
  • Collaboration with warehouse and security teams may require limited exposure to plant and shipping areas.
