Partnerships Team Leader (LATAM)

Purpose of the role:

Assemble a dynamic, collaborative team of Client Consultants responsible for elevating the dialogue with senior executives at some of the largest, well-known companies worldwide to build credibility, confidence in Euromonitor’s products and services, and trust that we are the world leader in data analytics and research into markets, industries, economies and consumers. Accelerate revenue growth in our Partnerships portfolio across Latin America by implementing and advancing our account portfolio strategy. Secure existing revenue as well as expansion across both our syndicated and custom service offerings, strengthening our role as a growth partner to our clients. This will be achieved through close collaboration with our sales, consulting, syndicated research, global leads, marketing, and service teams.

Success is achieved through:

  • Securing year-on-year revenue growth to agreed expectations across our portfolio of partnership accounts across the Corporate and ABC sectors in LATAM
  • Working closely with the Americas Head of Account Management – Partnerships and ABC and Corporate GADs to attain high renewal rates on existing business
  • Ensuring the successful implementation of our productised Consulting Solutions and Consulting Subscriptions, with a focus on repeatable and renewable sales
  • Executing on regional strategic initiatives to broaden understanding of our value proposition and increase product and service reach across our partnership accounts
  • Executing strategy to deliver revenue growth through an aligned and motivated high-performing regional Partnerships team
  • Effectively collaborating with stakeholders across Sales and Research to encourage a positive atmosphere as well as implementing creative strategies to grow business
  • Ensuring the application of best practices and delivery of service excellence with revenue forecasting confidence and leveraging of partnerships for added business benefits
  • Optimisation of tools for efficiency and transparency to support individual and wider team on accounts across Partnership space

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and maintain a high-performing regional Partnerships team, ensuring they are fully resourced, capable, and consistently motivated to drive revenue growth and execute our strategy
  • Interview, hire and train new employees, as well as ongoing involvement in any necessary disciplinary/grievance procedures involving members of the team
  • Set consistent and achievable goals, coach team members to become their best and give regular feedback to support their development
  • Regular pipeline and activity reviews to ensure opportunities are progressed and to support the team to find new approaches to move stalled opportunities forward
  • Willing to partner and travel with team to help uncover and close opportunities across the product suite
  • Work closely with the Head of Account Management - Americas team to ensure strong alignment on working accounts collaboratively and efficiently
  • Collaborate with sales peers around the globe as well as ABC and Corporate GADs to align on plans and communications on accounts and ensuring optimal partnership with our clients
  • Collaborate closely with Consulting to secure repeatable and profitable custom research revenue streams, including ability to pitch productised services effectively, while fostering cross-team synergies and relationships
  • Partner with our Senior Product Specialist team to optimise new product knowledge and sales
  • Lead by example using online CRM Pipeline Inspection tool effectively as well as ensuring tools including Sales Navigator and CoPilot are optimised
  • Promote best practice adoption and ensuring accuracy and timeliness of entry of required and relevant information in Salesforce
  • Institute actionable measures and training to improve strategic business planning, client mapping, product demos etc. ensuring each member of the sales team has the necessary tools to successfully achieve their individual sales targets. This also includes helping the team with time management to effectively prioritize their activities and act with urgency
  • Maintain a flexible approach to the role, able to adjust as the needs of the business and staff change

  • Experience in sales and account management processes, with the ability to apply them within Euromonitor’s business context
  • Track record of successfully managing long-term international relationships and partnerships across diverse stakeholder and client profiles, yielding commercial returns
  • Strong knowledge of up-to-date market trends, business implications and appropriate solutions
  • Ability to build consensus and foster collaboration across teams and offices
  • Experience in training and coaching commercial personnel to effectively sell our services and engage with clients
  • Capability to learn and apply knowledge at pace and use data to deliver improvements
  • Demonstrable ability to problem-solve effectively in a variety of complex situations
