Job Description

12 Month Fixed Term Contract

This role is within the Managed Portfolio Services (MPS) Operations Team, part of the wider Fund & MPS Operations Team within the investment management area. The team has a wide remit and are responsible for MPS operations within the Evelyn group, covering performance and oversight, general MPS operations, portfolio implementation, third party platform onboarding, regulatory change, and reporting for all MPS propositions.

The MPS Team recently agreed a centralised template for the production of MPS factsheets with our chosen third-party provider - FactSet. On a regular basis the role will have direct exposure to MPS Investment Managers along with various other MPS stakeholders within the business.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the production of monthly MPS Factsheets.
  • Support both periodic and ad hoc calculation of MPS performance and attribution, providing information to the MPS Team, its associated investment managers and the wider Business Development/Marketing Teams to support the growth of Evelyn Partners' MPS business.
  • Support the distribution of MPS data to various third-party performance providers.
  • Provide project assistance to improve the accessibility, quality, and automation of MPS performance statistics being provided to a wider audience.
  • Ensure all MPS procedures and processes are documented and up to date.
  • Assist the Head of MPS Operations with additional ad-hoc work and company-wide projects.

Training & Compliance

Follow departmental guidelines regarding training and ensure familiarity with all regulatory and internal compliance procedures.

  • Keen learner
  • Highly numerate with an attention to detail
  • Good communication, planning, and organisational skills.
  • Displays the highest standards of personal honesty and integrity.
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills very desirable.
  • Performance and risk experience gained within investment management desirable but not essential.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of different asset classes, sectors, investment types, and the Financial Services regulatory framework.
