Job Title: Equity Analyst
Working Schedule: M-F 9AM -5PM EST during a 4-week period each quarter for earnings, 6AM - 2PM EST outside of those periods

Position Overview: 

As an Equity Analyst at Finchat.io, you will play a crucial role in analyzing and compiling public company financial data, maintaining our database, processing customer data requests, and assisting with new product initiatives related to our database. This position requires a strong background in finance and accounting principles (US/Local GAAP, IFRS), with a focus on financial reporting, financial analysis, and equity analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and compile public company financial data.
  • Keep our database up to date on a quarterly reporting basis.
  • Process customer company or data requests efficiently.
  • Understand and update company data when financial reporting changes occur.
  • Assist in driving new FinChat data initiatives.

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in the role.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
  • With strong background in finance and accounting, preferably in financial reporting, financial analysis, and/or equity analysis.
  • Has strong understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP, Locap GAAP, IFRS)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to take initiative.
  • CPA (Ideal but not a major requirement)
