Set in the foothills of the spectacular Blue Mountains only an hour’s drive from Sydney’s CBD and well connected by motorways and public transport network, is Greencross Vets Coreen Avenue, Penrith.
Our local area is a hub for outdoor adventures, adrenaline attractions, historical treasures, diverse arts and culture scenes, dining and bars, and fun family activities. With our large team and team-centric rostering, you’ll have plenty of downtime to enjoy it all!

Our clinic embraces a full team-consulting model, supported by our highly skilled and experienced team, offering a fun, easy-going work environment, focused on providing our large, loyal patient base the absolute best medical and surgical care in the region. As part of our package we are thrilled to provide access to the Lincoln Learning Institute's Leading Edge for Veterinarians! This 52 week course valued at over $9000 will set you up for leadership excellence.


Our clinic is older in design yet offers a brilliant standard of patient care with new instrumentation and equipment throughout. We have 6 consulting rooms, a non-sterile treatment area, 2 x sterile theatres, a dedicated cat hospital, IM3 dental machine, multi parameter monitoring, in-house IDEXX blood machines, cat boarding facility and plenty of on-site parking. We’re exploring new sites and will hope to be moving to a brand-new clinic soon!


NO after-hours are required as our clinic is serviced by ARH Minchinbury for emergency cases and ARH Homebush and Baulkham Hills for specialty and emergency services.

Qualifications

This opportunity is best suited to a veterinarian with at least 1 year post-graduation experience, graduating from a university accredited by the Australasian Veterinary Boards’ Council (or have completed NAVLE, AVE or alike examinations) who is comfortable consulting, diagnosing and treating companion animals with autonomy and committed to delivering fear-free, compassionate and industry leading health care to our patients and their loving families.
