Roadway Project Manager

A growing and innovative engineering firm is looking to add a Senior Roadway Project Manager for their Denver team!

 

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all aspects of a roadway design project:
  • Identify/document scope of work
  • Key deliverables and timelines
  • Negotiating contract revisions
  • Cost control
  • Staffing
  • Quality control
  • Oversee design/production of project deliverables (design plans, specifications, reports, cost estimates)
  • Ensure QA/QC requirements are met
  • Mentor/train junior staff
  • Manage local personnel (including subcontractors) to meet project deliverables in a timely manner and within budget
  • Maintain schedule, budget and project profitability
  • Assist technical staff to develop proposals, scopes of work, and fee estimates
  • Work the team leader to establish staffing plans
  • Review project invoices
  • Prepare project status reports
  • Track employee expenses and time using project management software

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited university or college
  • 12+ years of experience in transportation engineering
  • PE License
  • Project management/delivery of roadway design projects experience
  • Experience working in Colorado preferred
  • Colorado Experience a plus 

 

Salary is commensurate with experience.
