The iconic Hotel del Coronado is looking for a Housekeeping Linen Supervisor (Seasonal) to join the Housekeeping team! Join one of the last surviving wooden Victorian beach resorts in the world and after a $400M renovation and expansion, the resort is more stunning than ever.

 

Located on Coronado Island just minutes from Downtown San Diego, this 28-acre property was built in 1888 and has over 750 rooms (to include cottages and villas), 65,000 square feet of banquet space, and 10 food and beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, 2 bars, food truck, marketplace, ice cream shop, and in-room dining.

  • Classification: Full-Time
  • Shift: Various - must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • Pay Rate: The pay rate for this role is $30 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.


What will I be doing?


As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you would be responsible for leading, training and supervising Room Attendants and Housepersons in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Manage daily housekeeping operations including but not limited to maintaining cleanliness of guestrooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices, and meeting rooms.
  • Ensure guest rooms are clean and available for guests in a timely manner by inspecting both vacant and occupied rooms.
  • Assist in hiring the best candidates for the department as well as training and developing new Team Members.
  • Maximize productivity by monitoring Room Attendants, Housepersons, and Public Area Attendants.
  • Monitor special projects in hallways, public areas, and guestrooms to maintain cleanliness and condition of the resort.

  • Provide customer service to Guests and Team Members, including information regarding hotel services, activities, and local attractions
  • Assist co-works and able to thrive in a team environment
  • Office Support as needed
  • Hallway and linen closet inspections
  • Complete monthly safety inspections
  • Able to read guest request reports via OnQ and assign tasks as necessary
