Physician, Urgent Care (Part-Time) - job 1 of 3

Included Health is looking for a remote physician who enjoys management of all health conditions and who is passionate about raising the standard of healthcare for everyone. The Physician will care for patients of all ages, maintaining accurate and current patient records, and working collaboratively with our provider and support teams.

This is a Part-Time position.


Responsibilities:
  • Perform age-appropriate history and virtual examinations, evaluate, diagnose, recommend treatment plan and document findings
  • Deliver high-quality patient care while maintaining safetyDocument medical information of patients and review patient history at each visit
  • Request consultation or referral with other health care providers
  • Counsel and educate patients
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests
  • Evaluate pediatric and adult patients for both acute, chronic and mental health conditions
  • Maintain knowledge of current medical research and trends
  • Provide administrative support or cross-coverage for reviewing laboratory test results
  • Schedule flexibility to include evenings and weekends


Required Qualifications:
  • Completion of a 3-year Family Medicine residency or equivalent program
  • 3+ years post residency experience in Urgent Care or Primary Care outpatient setting
  • Active ABMS or AOA Board Certification (in Family Medicine or IM)
  • Completion of U.S. Medical Licensing Examination
  • Active and unrestricted Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLCC)
  • Active medical license in the state of primary residence
  • Experience/Comfortable with providing care for all ages, newborn to adult populations
  • Must maintain Medicare active status
  • Function within an integrated medical practice
  • Outstanding clinical expertise, Comfort with technology
  • Demonstrate flexibility
  • Not under current exclusion or sanction by any state or federal health care program, including Medicare or Medicaid, and is not identified as an "excluded person" by the Office of Inspector General of the Department of Health and Human Services or the General Service Administration (GSA), or reprimanded or sanctioned by MedicareMust maintain Medicare active status


Physical/Cognitive Requirements:
  • Prompt and regular attendance at assigned work location.
  • Remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, computer and other office-related equipment.
  • Work with leadership, employees, and members in an appropriate manner.

Shift Obligations:
  • 20 clinical shift hours per week
  • Weekday evening shifts scheduled between the hours of 3p-11p PST
  • AND
  • Every other weekend, Saturday AND Sunday shifts: 8 hours/day, scheduled between 7a-11p
  • Rotate between day/evening shifts every other weekend
  • 2 holiday shifts per calendar year

$116 - $116 an hour

The United States compensation for this part-time position is $29.00 per patient visit. Minimum hourly rate guarantee is $69.60.

In addition to receiving a great compensation package, the compensation package may include the following:

401(k) savings plan through Fidelity

Full suite of Included Health telemedicine (e.g. behavioral health, urgent care) and health care navigation products and services offered at no cost for employees and dependents.
