Job Description

Reporting to the Vice President of Brand Strategy, you will create impact within our Brand Strategy department, which builds brands by combining timeless principles with the latest marketing execution. Our strategists connect creative and media, brand and performance, and human and AI-driven insights. They develop insightful creative briefs to produce platform-native content across the full marketing funnel.

You will lead marketing, brand, and communication strategies for clients in the French market, developing inspiring creative briefs and ensuring the campaigns and communications we develop lead to impactful creative work that achieves client goals, grows existing clients and helps win pitches.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Develop compelling and original branding strategies, building on multiple commercial and consumer data for existing clients and new opportunities.
  • Write inspiring creative briefs that lead to creative outputs of many different types, from social-first activations to integrated brand campaigns.
  • Understand platform specificity, ensuring recommendations align with the unique behaviours, trends and cultures of different social and digital channels in France.
  • Communicate simply but informatively in strategic presentations, conversation and briefs.
  • Collaborate with our Client Management and Creative teams, being the bridge between data, media, and creation, so that insights from each dimension inform one another for stronger outcomes.
  • Develop trusted relationships with key clients, understanding their brand, business and organisation and their own team.
  • Spot opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in digital, AI, and evolving consumer behaviours, bringing fresh perspectives and case studies to inform client strategy.

Qualifications

  • Fluent in French and English.You can write and present strategic narratives in a way that moves our teams and client audiences to action.
  • Over 7 years of experience in a similar role within a digital-first creative marketing agency.
  • Understanding of how to use quantitative and qualitative data to produce compelling, original and applicable marketing, brand and communications strategy, and measurement.
  • Understanding of the nuances of the French digital and media landscape, including how social platforms operate as distinct cultural ecosystems.
  • You create unique ideas and experiment with new methods and technologies to solve complex issues.
  • You love getting to know your clients, developing long-lasting relationships and adding value to their business.
  • When faced with a problem, you collaborate with team members, valuing and respecting diverse contributions to evaluate different options and find solutions.
