In this hybrid role, based out of New York, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring the high availability and security of AWS GovCloud environments tailored for public sector customers. Your main mission will involve a hands-on approach to managing and optimizing cloud-based infrastructures to meet the rigorous compliance requirements of FedRAMP and federal cybersecurity standards. You'll be driving automation and enhancing system performance alongside a passionate team, fostering a culture of collaboration that values innovative solutions. With 3-5+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or Cloud Engineering roles, you'll bring your technical expertise in AWS GovCloud services and your knowledge of security frameworks like NIST 800-53 to the table. You'll harness Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and Ansible while keeping your eye on improving CI/CD pipelines and system resilience using tools such as Kubernetes. Not to mention, you'll be expected to respond to incidents, conduct post-mortems, and deliver timely recovery of critical services.
