Summer Works: Physical Therapy Department ( Inpatient 707 Location)

Overview

The Summer Works Staff will work in various departments in the Institute contributing to business operations in a courteous, professional and responsible manner. Responsibilities may include administrative support, facilities support, research support, educational support and/or patient care aide dependent on the department in which the individual is working.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and Clean up to help with patient care
  • Assist with patient positioning and transfer/transport on and off the unit
  • Assist with scheduling of the patients
  • Qualifications

    • *Individual must demonstrate competence across all age groups due to the diversity of the children and families served by KKI. Clinical care focus is on the neonate, pediatric, and adolescent populations, as well as some adults with disabilities.

    EDUCATION:

    • At minimum, individual must be currently enrolled in a high school education program or equivalent.
