Kentro is hiring for DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, testing and maintaining the infrastructure and services that support our software applications. At IT Concepts, we are committed to delivering technology concepts that work, and we need a DevOps Engineer who shares our dedication to innovation and collaboration. You will join a team of diverse and dedicated technology experts, tackling our clients' most pressing challenges head-on.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain infrastructure and automation tools using scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, and Bash.
  • Build and deploy microservices and containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes and Helm charts.
  • Implement continuous integration and delivery pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonarqube, and Gitlab.
  • Monitor system stability and performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Implement security measures to ensure the protection of systems and data including applying DISA STIGs and Applications.
  • Function as ISSO when required.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration between the development and operations pipelines.
  • Lead a team of developers in the design, development, and deployment of web applications

Location: On-site in Reston, VA. Possibility to work some hours remotely.

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps or software engineering.
  • Knowledge deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting Apache, NGINX, Metabase, ElasticSearch, OpenSearch, RDS, Rabbitmq.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS or Azure
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and processes.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker, Helm charts, and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with implementing security controls and STIGs.
  • Experience with deploying containerized environments in Openshift v4 platform.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs
  • Understanding of ATO process, including experience with Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) process
  • Experience with security tools such as Splunk, Trellix, and Nessus.
  • Strong understanding of Linux operating systems and Bash scripting.
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Clearance:

  • Must have an active DOD TS Clearance, and SCI eligible. Must be able to obtain a CI Poly.
