DescriptionAdams Manufacturing Corp, proudly part of the Keter U.S. group, is seeking an entry-level Mold Repair Technician for our Tooling Department in Portersville, PA. Adams is a leading manufacturer of plastic injection molded consumer products.
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7 am-3:30 pm, as needed on weekends/after hours (on call/OT). Overtime is required at times (IE: If the mold breaks, necessary to stay over, or if a job needs to be completed by a certain time)
Starting Wage: $22.50/hour
Summary:
The Mold Repair Technician will work in the Tooling Department, cleaning and inspecting molds and changing slides and inserts on the molds. This is considered an entry-level position in the Tooling Department.
Duties:
- Clean, maintain and visually inspect molds in the press and enter data into Up Keep when it was cleaned and with any repairs needed.
- Change slides and inserts on the molds.
- Some basic machining
- Assist with repairs on molds that weigh 500-70000 pounds
- Keep shop area clean and organized
- Duties and tasks to be assigned by Lead Tech or Manager
- Follow all Keter Safety policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned

RequirementsJob Requirements:
- Successfully complete forklift and crane training class
- Must be mechanically inclined.
- Strong, acute attention to detail.
- Will be required to complete online training with strong understanding of mold components and their functions.
- Ability to calmly communicate with other associates in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of frequent climbing and lifting
- Basic knowledge of surface grinder, drill press, manual mill and lathe
- Ability to utilize measuring equipment such as micrometers, dial calipers, height gauge, gauge pins and dial indicator.
- Basic computer, reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
- 3-5 years manufacturing experience
- Prior mold maintenance experience a plus.
- Must have good attendance and policy record. (Internal applicants must have less than 2 points)
- Must have good work ethic & time management skills.
- Must be able to work as a team.
