Position Summary
Intermediate level position responsible for one or more operational compression jobs with direct responsibility for the operation of compressor packages, gas processes, and rental equipment. Provides feedback for the development of the location’s operating policies, and material forecasts for assigned units. Has intermediate level diagnostic and repair skills. May backfill and assist other field positions on occasion.

As a Field Service Technician at Kodiak in Cuero, TX, you'll be diving into an exciting journey where your expertise will make a real difference. In this intermediate-level role, you'll take on the responsibility for operational compression jobs, managing compressor packages and gas processes. Your day-to-day will involve troubleshooting and performing complex repairs while building strong relationships with our customers. You’ll also analyze job parts and supply inventory to keep projects running smoothly, aiming for a stellar 98% equipment availability rate. We're all about teamwork here, so you’ll collaborate closely with your peers, attending HSE meetings and ensuring adherence to all safety protocols. Flexibility is essential as you’ll be required to work overtime and cover on-call shifts, but rest assured, your effort won’t go unnoticed. To thrive in this role, you should bring along a High School Diploma (or equivalent), along with at least 3 years of relevant experience in compression processes and equipment. Familiarity with compressor packages, electrical troubleshooting skills, and a knack for effective communication are key. Plus, valid certifications for equipment will certainly give you an edge.
