Job Description:

This Digital Integration lead oversees and coordinates the digital ecosystem development roadmaps, technology planning and landscaping. This role will partner with the Centers of Excellence Directors and Sector Chief Engineers to project-manage the integration of Digital Engineering infrastructure initiatives.

 

Implementation of the Digital Engineering strategy will include Product Lifecycle Management PLM, Model Based Design, Application Lifecycle Management, DevSecOps, Model Based Systems Engineering, and Digital Thread into cross functional systems (ERP, MES, Business Intelligence Role is responsible to develop mechanisms for monitoring engineering project progress (cost, schedule, and technical) and problem solving within deployment project teams. Responsible for developing champions and deployment of new concepts and technologies that realize L3Harris' objective of a fully integrated Digital Thread.


Essential Functions: 

 

  • Advance L3Harris’ ability to transition products to the customer more effectively using new design methodology tools (model-based design, digital engineering)
  • roadmap development, technology planning and portfolio management.
  • Complete enterprise maturity assessments and gap analysis for digital engineering implementation
  • Mature engineering capabilities to reduce defects, rework, improve productivity
  • Work closely with IT on the data migration to new tools and updates to enterprise platform tools
  • Create metrics to demonstrate improved abilities for rapid development and delivery of work products in the value stream


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
  • Bachelor or Master of Science degree from an accredited university in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics
  • Experience in implementation of modern technology, architecture, and automation patterns of engineering capabiities
  • Experience in the development of methods in roadmap development, technology planning and portfolio management; through understanding of engineering processes and tools beyond the application level.

     

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience in portfolio management and prioritization analysis
  • Experience in Digital engineering integration
  • Experience in process transformation and rationalization
  • Experience in using hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
  • Experience working with diverse team (with sometimes conflicting needs) to drive to a common solution that meets the needs of the business
