Job Description

Our DoD government prime client currently has an opening for a temporary (6 weeks) Executive Assistant (EA). This position will be located onsite daily at The Redstone Arsenal, USASAC, Huntsville, ALA, and will support them and their government customers.  This opportunity offers the chance to work with some of the best and brightest minds in the Department of Defense. 

This opening is for an Executive Assistant (EA) with some Business Analyst experience to provide executive level support for Department of Defense Army/USASAC.

Responsibilities: 

  • Education: BS degree or HS diploma with 84 months of experience.
  • Software: Uses Office 365, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint to produce high-quality reports, presentations, or other documents.
  • Evaluate existing business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.

 

    Qualifications

    • 6-week temporary assignment to cover a leave
    • hourly rate, no benefits $35-$40/hour rate range
    • on-site daily at Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, AL.
    • active secret clearance required

    Stakeholder Communication:

    • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including management, IT, and other departments, to understand business needs and requirements. 
    • Present findings and recommendations clearly and concisely. 

    Project Management: 

    • Assist in the planning, executing, and monitoring of projects to ensure they meet business objectives. 
    • Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely delivery and adherence to project scope.  

    Documentation:

    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, requirements, and project plans.
    • Develop user manuals, training materials, and other support documents.

    Administrative support for USASAC G2/6 Directorate:

    • Maintains and coordinates calendar events.
    • Effective, informative, and concise.
    • Coordinates travel and expense reimbursement.
    • Arrange meetings and conferences and ensure briefing products are prepared.
    • Receiving, referring, or answering mail.
    • Review drafts and finished documents for spelling, grammar use, and format.
    • Knowledge and communication relating to office operations and established policies and procedures.
    • Uses tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment regarding dissemination and exposure to sensitive information.
    • Interfaces with personnel at all organizational levels to gather information for reports, projects, meetings, and events.
    • Occasionally required to escort individuals or groups into classified areas.
