Sales Intern

We’re looking for a mission-driven Sales Intern who can help grow the Courses product line at Leland. Leland is growing rapidly, and the Courses product is our highest-growth segment. If you are a master of written communication and persuasion, a scrappy hustler, and a relentless operator, you will love this role, and we want you to join the team.

Strong performance in this role may lead to converting to a full-time hire. As such, we are looking for college seniors who are available for full-time work in Summer 2025 and beyond.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing and iterating on a magical growth playbook

  • Finding the holy grail — testing your way to the highest-converting email and text copy

  • Selling at scale through constant communication with hundreds of warm leads

  • Planning and executing world-class event and email campaigns

  • Partnering closely with a talented team of operators (from BCG, Bain & Company, Uber, LinkedIn, etc.)

  • Using data to prioritize initiatives and continuously optimize performance

  • Building a rocket ship while riding it to the moon

Your qualifications:

  • College degree or equivalent

  • Internship or full-time work in a fast-paced, analytical environment including Strategy & Ops, Consulting, Marketing/Growth, Finance, or other relevant roles (bonus points for startup experience but not required)

  • Wordsmith extraordinaire who uses the pen to persuade

  • Empathetic, customer-first owner

  • Gritty operator who is not afraid to get in the weeds and work hard at all hours

  • Metrics-driven researcher with a drive to test and iterate

  • Hungry apprentice ready to learn and become the master

  • Opinionated solution-ist who can prioritize and solve problems, then defend the priorities and methods used to solve them
