Description

If you are looking for an exciting career opportunity in the IT, engineering, software development, logistics, and project management fields, Linchpin Solutions is the place to be! We are currently hiring for a dynamic and experienced C4I Interoperability and Integration Engineer. 


Clearance: Active DoD Secret Clearance  


Work Schedule: On-site Monday-Friday with <10% CONUS travel.


Role Overview:

Lead the analysis, design, and development of new data standards for next-generation Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems. This role focuses on ensuring seamless interoperability across joint, coalition, and allied forces by analyzing, defining and implementing robust data exchange protocols. Ideally, a background in military communication standards, tactical data links (TDLs), and emerging interoperability frameworks, with the ability to develop and enhance data formats, schemas, protocols, and documentation to support evolving mission requirements.

  • Lead the analysis, design, and development of new data standards for next-generation C4I systems.
  • Ensure seamless interoperability across joint, coalition, and allied forces.
  • Analyze, define, and implement robust data exchange protocols.
  • Develop and enhance data formats, schemas, protocols, and documentation.
  • Support evolving mission requirements.
  • Utilize expertise in military communication standards and tactical data links (TDLs).
  • Apply knowledge of emerging interoperability frameworks.

Requirements

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Engineering, or a technical field is required.

Experience Requirements 

  • 8+ years experience in systems engineering or C4I system integration and testing
  • 5+ years experience with MIL-STD, STANAG, or other DoD system specification compliance
  • 5+ years experience with tactical data links (TDL) and their associated specifications
  • Experience in developing/analyzing TDL or other communication schemas
  • Familiarity with USMC C4I systems preferred
