JOB DUTIES: Code / Implement guardrails to enable self-service and frictionless delivery allowing teams to build and own end-to-end applications and services in the cloud. Lead the development efforts and the enterprise services on AWS Landing Zone (ALZ) utilizing including EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, ELB, RDS, R53, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including architecture, data, product, and business partners, and strategies to scale, resilient and modernize platforms. Code / Implement guardrails to enable self-service and frictionless delivery allowing teams to build and own end-to-end applications and services in the cloud. Formulating workable solutions to complex challenges; logically deliberating on courses of action by examining and challenging assumptions, discerning hidden value, objectively evaluating evidence, and assessing conclusions. Measure success by say/do, velocity, defect remediation, and clear value to the trading platforms. Provide technical leadership to teammates through technical design, and implementation of best practices, adhering to LPL’s modernization practices, Cloud practices, SDLC and release management processes. Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance Capital Markets/ Trading / Wealth Management Platform applications.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science/Management, Project Management or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained.

Alternatively, Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science/Management, Project Management or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation in which the required experience was gained.

Applicants must have demonstrated experience in each the following:

  • Designing, and developing utilizing common AWS services: EC2, S3, ECS, EKS, ELB, or Any RDS;

  • Streaming (Kafka);

  • Messaging (SQS, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ, IBMMQ, or MSMQ);

  • Caching (Redis, Ignite, Redshift, or Elastic);

  • NO-SQL;

  • API;

  • Working with C#, Java, Python, and full-stack development;

  • Working with RDBMS technologies: MSSQL, Oracle, Postgress, Arora, or MySQL; and

  • Linux/Unix scripts, Docker and Kubernetes.


 

Pay Range:

$172,000- $182,000


 

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
