Machine Operator

Shift: 1st Shift (Monday-Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm) & 2nd Shift (Monday-Thursday, 3:30 pm to 2:00 am)

Job Description

Pay: $19-22/hr

1.       Responsible for fabricating and assembling various metal products using tools, machines and their own hands.

2.       Build samples and test products

 

Essential Functions:

1.       Ensure working environment is clean and safe

2.       Operate fabrication machines such as trimmers, press brakes, hand bending tools, and resistance welders

3.       Read and interpret measurements, blueprints, sketches and assembly instructions

4.       Measure work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of operations, verify specifications and alter dimensions to fit specifications

5.       Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction

6.       Analyze information and evaluate results to choose the best solution and solve problems

7.       Report errors in production line

8.       Complete quality control forms in accordance with company procedures

9.       Removes burrs, sharp edges, or rust from work piece.

10.   Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor
