Job Description

The Associate Director is a leader who is responsible for the performance and management of an operations team and client relationships. This person manages and supports daily operations to ensure service level agreements are met and quality is maintained. The Associate Director is also a manager of people, they’re a leader who helps foster healthy culture and staff development. This role requires technical knowledge and experience of loan operations, documentation, and accounting. Reporting to the Director, Debt Services, you will:

  • Manage daily operations to ensure SLAs are met in an efficient manner
  • Perform reviews on setups and credit agreements (CLOs/CDOs/Debt Funds), or any other deliverables, for the operations team
  • Manage client relationships and be a point of escalation
  • Look at Monthly, Quarterly reports for investors (Loans/Collaterals), validate all breaks/discrepancies and ensure they are reconciled and sent to the client within the Service Level Agreement (SLA).
  • Managing trades on multiple facilities and securities that are involved in CLOs/CDOs/Debt Funds
  • Champion quality and continuous improvement
  • Participate in new service development and support new service rollouts
  • Participate in and manage projects to enhance the overall service offering 
  • Support and uphold a culture of control and compliance with company policy
  • Collaboration with internal operations groups, across multiple departments, to drive results
  • Management of personnel, including ongoing feedback, performance management, and recruitment
  • any and all other ad-hoc responsibilities  

 

 

Qualifications

  • University or College business degree with a concentration in Accounting or Finance
  • Relevant designation in accounting, finance, or management would be nice to have
  • Significant experience in fund administration or relevant financial services in private credit
  • Expert understanding of Syndicated or Private loans and their underlying principles
  • Extensive understanding of credit agreements and relevant loan attributes
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
