Customer Enablement Content Intern

Customer Enablement Content Intern - Remote Internship - Bellingham, Washington State 

Nasuni is the leading hybrid cloud storage solution that powers business growth with effortless scalability, built-in security, and fast edge performance using a unique cloud-native architecture. Nasuni's Customer Enablement department improves and enhances the customer experience by implementing self-service customer education programs. The Customer Enablement Content Intern will assist in managing cross-functional projects owned by Customer Enablement, and participate in updating and/or creating written and basic creative (graphics and video) content for customer-facing computer-based training materials. The ideal candidate will be a technically savvy strategic thinker who is ready for a challenge. Experience with Canva, Camtasia or similar programs are a plus but not mandatory. The candidate must be a confident, effective communicator as this role requires cross-departmental collaboration. We are willing to train the right person and encourage graduate students from all majors to apply.

General Duties:

  • Content Optimization: Update or create written and/or visual content that meets Nasuni branding standards and provides clear, accessible, and up-to-date information for specific audience personas.
  • Workflow Optimization: Identify inefficiencies in current processes and recommend improvements to enhance project delivery and cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Task Management: Assign and track tasks, ensuring that each department has clear visibility into their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Status Reporting: Regularly update stakeholders on the status of projects, highlighting key metrics such as task progress, bottlenecks, and resource allocation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum Skill Requirements: This person should be familiar with common business applications and be able to adapt to new applications/technology quickly. They must have excellent written and oral communication skills, as content creation and editing are a critical to the role. This person will be working with subject matter experts from various teams, so they must be curious, courteous and self-motivated. This person will need to be confident communicating cross-functionally with high-level professionals.
  • Ideal Skill Requirements: The candidate would ideally have experience with Canva, Camtasia or similar creative software. Experience with Jira or other project management/Kanban board software would be a bonus.
  • Prior experience or coursework desired: Formal education or experience in general business disciplines, especially marketing, customer education (writing for personas), or customer experience. Open to Graduate candidates from all majors.
  • Skills or tools the intern will use and/or learn on this internship: This person will become proficient with or improve their use of multiple business applications, specifically those used for written and visual content creation as well as project management. They will also assist in the improvement of processes that promote and enhance Customer Enablement initiatives using quantitative and qualitative data analysis. This candidate will have the opportunity to impact the long-term strategy of the Customer Enablement function at Nasuni.
