Job Description

This role is for Account Manager to help support our Defence Account team. Someone who is a relationship builder who possesses a deep understanding Defence andGovernment Clients. Someone with exceptional communication and negotiation skills who wants to work with clients to help solve their problems.

 

With a consultative sales approach, you’ll partner with our clients throughout their digital transformation journey, driving growth opportunities, and managing a portfolio of accounts. You'll create compelling sales proposals and tender responses, identify new sales opportunities within your accounts, and position yourself and the NCS team as trusted advisors.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role farming accounts for a Technology Consultancy or Systems Integrator
  • An expert in consultative and solution sales
  • A strong background in Account Management and network of contacts in Defence and  Dederal Government 
  • Extensive experience selling products, solutions and services in cloud, digital transformation, application modernisation, data and AI
  • The ability to drive complex bids, RFP and RFQ’s
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport across various levels
  • The ability to build relationships within a complex enterprise and government clients
  • A passionate self-starter with a collaborative attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and interpersonal skills driven by sales success
  • A consultative approach with the ability to have value-led conversations
