Quoting Engineer F/M/X

(CDI)

We are currently looking for passionate people ready to make a difference in the following open position: Quoting Engineer F/M/X, based in Lyon (7e).

Within the R&D teams of Nemera, the Quoting Engineer will be in charge of preparing accurate and competitive quotations for new development projects of products and services, based on Nemera’s customer requirements and Nemera’s capabilities.

This position reports to the Services Quoting & PM Director and is based in Lyon 7e.

Job Description :

1. Quotations Support: 

• Take responsibility for owning the process of writing new business proposals with support from sales, project team incl. operations, Subject Matter Experts when it comes to Nemera’s Owned-products Customization quotes.
• Take responsibility for owning the process of building new business cases with support from Marketing, Subject Matter Experts, Operations
• Ensure project launch while staffing long term the project
• Support During Peak Periods: Assist project managers with Project Managers’ tasks during high-demand periods.
• Supports harmonization of O-IP services quotation template structure between franchises.
• Collaborate with Chicago’s site to ensure consistency across the board
• Contributes to monitoring the development pipe and building KPIs enabling drill analysis

1. Opportunities Management Support: 

• Translate project briefs using standard “service packages” to align customer needs with Nemera capabilities.
• The Quoting Engineer will be familiar with global Insight offering.
• Leadership of opportunities to be determined by sales and global Insight committee.

1. Project Management:

• Collaborate with and coordinate between multi-disciplinary teams such as the units, the Human Factors engineers, the user experience designers, engineers.
• Schedule intermediate calls with the multi-disciplinary teams, log actions, schedule quote approval as per quote approval matrix
• Learn from on going projects to refresh the quotation tool with right assumptions.

So, what are we looking for?

• Master’s degree in Engineering, in technical, or social science discipline.
• Significant experience (at least 5 years) in framing and drafting development proposals/contracts in collaboration with subject matter experts in product development services, ideally applied to drug delivery (or medical device) segments.
• Experience working in a fee-for-service technical consultancy
• Result oriented, strong analytical skills and good understanding of financial key drivers.
• Important business acumen is required for this position : understanding financial and strategic issues related to project development design
• Good knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry market
• Technical affinity and technical interest/willingness to learn to allow solid communication with R&D, Engineering and plant teams
• Managing and organising projects with multi-functional teams: coordination, planning, chairing meetings
• You demonstrate Proven advanced skills with Office 365 environment and software, especially Excel, SharePoint, Teams, PowerPoint, and Power BI.

Languages:

Excellent level of English : day-to-day working language
