Next Matter is expanding, and we’re looking for a Solution Engineer to play a pivotal role in our growth. You will be instrumental in implementing our No-Code Workflow Automation Platform with our across DACH, while contributing to the success of our launch in the region.

About the Role

As a Solution Engineer, you will work directly with enterprise clients, collaborating closely with our Customer Success Lead and our Product and Engineering teams. You’ll be responsible for maximizing customer value, ensuring successful implementation, and driving adoption of our platform. As an early hire in Canada, you will also have a unique opportunity to influence our expansion strategy in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, providing expertise on the Next Matter platform and best practices.

  • Support clients in identifying process optimization opportunities and how Next Matter can be used to solve the issues.

  • Partner with the Customer Success lead to own the account’s roadmap, ensuring seamless implementation, project management, and adoption.

  • Onboard and train Next Matter users, including workflow builders and end users.

  • Deliver technical support to DACH customers.

  • Collaborate with Solution Engineers, Sales, Product, and Engineering to design and build solutions for customer use cases.

  • Contribute to Quarterly Business Reviews with key clients.

About You

  • 3-5 years of client-facing experience as a Solution Engineer, Solutions Architect, or similar roles in technical implementation or digital transformation consulting.

  • Experience working on enterprise implementation projects.

  • Familiarity with REST APIs, comfortable building API calls or short scripts (JavaScript or Python), and deploying serverless functions with version control (Git). While professional software development experience is not required, it is a plus.

  • Experience with Cloud infrastructure, particularly Microsoft Azure.

  • Strong collaboration skills with both business and technology stakeholders.

  • A customer-centric mindset, demonstrating grit, persistence, and a passion for driving customer success.

  • German is required for DACH client communication; English is the company’s working language.
