We are seeking a Manager 2 to join our talented team in Redondo Beach, CA. You will support the Software Integrated Product Team (IPT) Lead for the Payload Software (PLSW) as a Technical Lead and intercompany PGSD Project Manager – leading and managing a team responsible for Systems Engineering, Software Development, Integration and Test, and Verification of the Resource Controller (RC/XDR) payload software.
This position is contingent upon program award and/or customer funding.
Management Roles & Responsibilities:
This position will focus on project management along with technical duties including product management tasking for project reporting, cost and schedule tracking, and assessment and mitigation of project risks.
Technical Contributor Roles & Responsibilities:
This position will focus primarily on system engineering for resource controller software requirements analysis, decomposition, and allocation from system-level requirements down to lower-level requirements; software requirement specification development; preparing content for delta-PDR and CDR; document software design in model; software requirements mapping and analysis; and liaising with subject matter experts, analysts, architects, designers, and specialty engineers to ensure requirements are defined holistically, completely, and unambiguously for an integrated system.
