Equipment Repair Technician

The Equipment Repair Technician tests and repairs and/or modifies equipment to meet Engineering specification.

This individual must be able to follow a performance metric system that measures the time worked on production and the quantity of units completed on a daily basis.



Primary Duties
  • Must be able to assist in the test installation and verification at Electronic Repair.
  • This position is responsible for test and repair troubleshooting issues pertaining to equipment they are assigned. 


Skills/Experience Requirements:
  • Knowledgeable in PC Hardware and peripherals.
  • Knowledgeable in troubleshooting
  • Familiar with National Instruments
  • Familiar with test plans, procedures and reports.
  • Able to troubleshoot multiprocessor equipment.
  • Must have the ability to use a simple approach in communicating technical issues with peers.
  • Be willing to actively participate in communications with test engineers.
  • Must understand that individual results affect the whole department due to the overall performance metric system
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

 A reasonable hourly pay rate for a new employee to be offered this role would be $17/hr.
