Job Description

North 40 Outfitters in Great Falls, MT is looking to hire a Full-Time Fixture Warehouse Specialist to join our team.  We believe that each team member plays a vital role in the success of our company.  We are looking for authentic and enthusiastic people who love our lifestyle and believe in service before self.  As a Fixture Warehouse Specialist at North 40, you play a critical role in supporting North 40 Outfitters' retail operations through the safe, accurate, and timely handling, assembly, maintenance, and transport of store fixtures. This position involves both hands-on labor and administrative tasks such as inventory tracking and order fulfillment, and collaborates closely with store teams and warehouse staff to execute store setups and updates effectively.

This full-time position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between the business hours of Mon-Fri 8 am to 5 pm. This shift may include working weekends and certain holidays based on business needs.

Qualifications

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Store Fixtures
    • Develop expertise with Lozier, Lotus, and Detailed Construction fixtures.
    • Understand fixture weight and balance for safe usage.
    • Construct, maintain, and repair store fixtures as needed.
  • Safety Procedures
    • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of work areas, forklifts, equipment, and box truck.
    • Safely prepare and load fixtures for transport.
    • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery per certification standards
    • Identify and respond to safety/security risks, notifying the proper personnel.
  • Construction
    • Understand limitations and handling of wood, metal, and plastic components.
    • Maintain structural integrity of fixtures and construction products.
    • Read and interpret diagrams or maps for accurate store setups.
  • Organization
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including supplies and tools.
    • Sort, label, tag, and clean fixture components.
    • Track expenses and ensure accuracy in inventory management.
  • Order Fulfillment
    • Use Microsoft Power Automate, Teams, Planner, and Excel to manage fixture orders.
    • Review incoming orders for completeness and safety of fixture combinations.
    • Communicate with store teams and stakeholders to clarify and update order status.
    • File and retrieve paperwork for audit or research purposes.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Have a current commercial drivers license or willing to obtain
  • Construction and fixture systems (Lozier, Lotus, etc.)
  • Internal customer service principles
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, etc.)
  • Attention to detail and follow-through
  • Organization and time management
  • Self-starting with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Previous forklift experience preferred, must be willing to obtain, must be 18+ years old to acquire
  • Understanding of correct lifting and loading techniques.  Physical ability to lift and carry 0-25 lbs. continuously, 25-45 lbs. frequently, and 45-65 lbs. occasionally, and team lift anything over 65 lbs.  Spending 100% of work time on your feet, including use of ladders, rolling staircases and pallet jacks.
