Responsibilities

 Prepares and administers radiopharmaceuticals under the supervision of the authorized user and operates radio isotopic detector equipment to produce photoscans of designated areas of the human body for neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.  In Cardiology Services, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist serves adult and geriatric patients.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

 

  • Graduate of accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program AND certified as Nuclear Medicine Technologist or registry eligible for an appropriate certification examination through the Nuclear Medicine Technology certification Board (NMTCB)
  • Certified in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
  • Registered as a CT Technologist for sites with PETCT within (1) one year of hire date.
  • Work Hours:

    6:30A-3P, 7A-3:30P, 8A-4:30P, 6:30A-5P
