Additionally, they should either be certified as Nuclear Medicine Technologists or registry-eligible for certification through the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB). A CPR certification is also required, along with the registration as a CT Technologist for those working with PETCT within one year of their hire date.
