Overview

Position Title: Physical Therapist 

Location: NovaCare Chevy Chase, MD

Setting: Outpatient Orthopedics

Compensation: starting at $80,000

Incentive: Up to $20,000 and/ or Indefinite Loan Help

We are seeking an outpatient orthopedics experienced physical therapist and can consider someone for management or leadership training, if interested. Our PTs average 11-12 patients per day with 1:1 hour evals. We treat a variety of specialties including vestibular, oncology, industrial and sports medicine on top of general outpatient orthopedics. We are OPEN to expanding specialties based on your goals. The stability, resources and network of NovaCare will help you reach your clinical and professional milestones.

 

 

 

Schedule: 40 hour work week with two days treating until 700pm. Last patient is scheduled an hour prior. Alternative schedules may be considered for the right clinician.

 

 

 

Compensation: starting at $85,000 commensurate with experience

Bonus: Up to $20,000 and/or indefinite student loan help. NO REPAYMENTS!!

Responsibilities

  • Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how physical therapists may practice and whom physical therapists may supervise.
  • Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.
  • Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly.
  • Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times.
  • Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited PT school
  • Valid State Physical Therapist License
  • Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required
