The Customer First Team

The EMEA Professional Services Team helps customers across EMEA realise the value of their Okta investment by accelerating time-to-value, using our processes, assets and expertise to implement Okta’s products to solve complex identity challenges. Our team sits within the Customer First area - focused on ensuring the long term success of our customers.

The Partner Success Manager  Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Director, Professional Services EMEA, this role will define and execute service solutions, high-level project management, act as technical support , and performance monitoring of System Integrators.

What you’ll be doing 

  • Own System Integrators and Small Delivery Partners delivery onboarding, performing initial delivery capability assessment to ensure partner teams can deliver Okta 
  • Build long-term relationships with System Integrators and Small Delivery Partner stakeholders and deeply understand their strategy, goals, and plans to ensure a successful mutually beneficial growth strategy for the partner and Okta
  • Demonstrate strong commercial acumen to effectively identify, understand and champion opportunities for Okta Professional Services and/or Partners
  • Leveraging Okta’s Value Management and Identity Maturity Model, along with any partner solution and accelerators, champion opportunities for partners and Okta PS to work together
  • Help all Partners achieve their technical objectives by delivering timely technical guidance, enablement, and best practices materials
  • Provide input and guidance to all Partners as they build and expand the technical capabilities of their delivery practice teams
  • Build and track all Partner’s development plan to track partner goals and progress toward Delivery practice growth including monitoring partner health, satisfaction, risks, and escalations
  • Serve as a technical POC during complex and/or highly visible deployments, offering advisory and resources to steer teams toward effective problem-solving without delving deeply into the technical intricacies
  • Address any technical issues to ensure quick and efficient deployment to achieve customer goals, alignment with Okta best practices, and maximum adoption
  • Serve as liaison connecting all Partners to Okta internal teams and resources 
  • Review, update, and promote Partner enablement tools such as Okta Partner Connect Portal
  • Lead, facilitate, or attend discussions with internal Okta resources to advise on partner-delivered solutions
  • Stay well informed about company products by completing training and achieving assigned certifications

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Experience of Delivering Okta’s products to customers (preferred)
  • Consulting experience (Strongly preferred)
  • Experience with (IAM) architectures
  • Experience with implementing cloud computing solutions including AWS, Google Apps, Salesforce etc
  • Provide oversight/guidance experience including offering subject matter expertise
  • Familiarity with IAM solution providers is strongly desired
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and Azure is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work and interact with CxOs and high-level customer executives
  • Experience in leading design review workshops to validate and steer solutions
  • Experience in validating functional specifications and system design specifications for customer engagements
  • Optimize user experience while implementing high security to critical applications
  • Proficiency with various open-source software and development tools

And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following! 

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline, or equivalent experience
  • Okta Certified Consultant (Strongly preferred)
  • Okta Certified Developer (Strongly preferred)
  • TOGAF and/or CISSP certification is a plus
