The Internal Events Manager will be responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of all internal company events, including company kickoffs, holiday parties, internal QBRs, executive offsites, and other employee engagement events. This role will manage every aspect of event execution, from budgeting to event production, logistics, stakeholder alignment, and post-event analysis. The Internal Events Manager will leverage deep professional expertise to design outcome-driven events that enhance employee engagement, drive satisfaction, and directly contribute to the company's ability to achieve strategic goals.
Responsibilities:
Plan, manage, and execute all internal company events, ensuring seamless production and execution from inception to post-event wrap-up.
Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all events are executed within financial constraints while maximizing impact.
Manage the relationship with our procurement team and give them the guidance they need to complete venue sourcing efforts.
Oversee all logistics and production aspects, including AV, catering, branding, scheduling, speaker coordination, and on-site event management.
Design and execute engaging event agendas that align with company objectives, enhance employee engagement, and reinforce strategic initiatives.
Exercise independent judgement in developing and adapting event strategies for evolving company needs.
Collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure event alignment with business priorities and culture.
Serve as a trusted advisor to key business partners and executives, influencing decisions and aligning event strategy with broader business outcomes.
Project manage each event end-to-end, ensuring milestones and stakeholder deadlines are met for successful execution.
Implement post-event evaluation processes, gathering data, analyzing impact, and applying learnings to continuously improve future events.
Manage vendor relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery and successful execution of all contracted services.
Stay current on industry trends and innovations to bring fresh, engaging ideas to the company’s internal event strategy.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate event planning, event production, or related fields.
Demonstrated experience managing large-scale corporate events, including executive-level meetings, company-wide gatherings, and team engagement activities.
Strong strategic and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
Proven experience in event budgeting and financial oversight, ensuring cost-effective and impactful execution.
Proficiency in RFP processes, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and advisory skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and align event strategy with business objectives.
Strong analytical abilities, with a data-driven approach to measuring event success and applying learnings for continuous improvement.
Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced environments with evolving priorities and business needs.
Familiarity with event technology platforms, including virtual event tools, registration systems. CVENT experience is a plus.
