Cloud Architect

As a Cloud Architect, you will be involved in the design, development, and research of new offerings within the domain of Azure and M365 technologies. The main objective would be to design, develop and maintain new and existing managed services offerings based on industry best practices. Additionally, you will engage in R&D activities to explore innovative solutions and improve existing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop and maintain managed services offerings based on implementation engineer reports and customer feedback.
  • Support the automation of infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools.
  • Facilitate the implementation and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless continuous integration and delivery.
  • Conduct R&D to explore new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance service offerings and improve processes.
  • Set up and manage monitoring and logging solutions for proactive issue detection.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation/design for managed services and offerings.
  • Stay up to date with the latest Azure and DevOps tools, practices, and technologies.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in related roles.
  • Knowledge of Azure cloud services and infrastructure management.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Bicep or ARM templates.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C#, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Identity, Defender for Office 365, and other related security solutions.
  • Knowledge of Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Mobile Device Management (MDM), and Intune.
  • Understanding of Active Directory and its management.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Any certifications in Azure or M365 (e.g. Azure Administrator Associate, DevOps Engineer Expert, Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert, Azure Solutions Architect Expert) will be considered a strong asset
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes will be a plus
