Phasor Engineering is seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer/Advisor to join our team and help drive a culture of safety excellence. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our workforce by implementing and overseeing Phasor Engineering and Quanta Services safety programs, supporting compliance with all regulatory and company standards across Canada and the United States, and assisting the HR Team in a multitude of fashions. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about creating safe work environments, with a strong ability to communicate and collaborate across teams to achieve safety objectives. Phasor Engineering is on the lookout for a passionate and proactive Safety Officer to join our ever-growing team! In this vital role, you'll be at the heart of our commitment to safety excellence, ensuring that our workforce in both Canada and the United States operates in a safe and healthy environment. Your responsibilities will include reviewing HSE policies, conducting incident investigations, and leading safety training sessions. Collaboration will be key as you partner with site personnel, human resources, and management to develop effective safety programs and initiatives. With a focus on compliance with all relevant safety regulations, including OHS, OSHA, and CSA standards, you'll have the opportunity to make significant strides in creating a robust safety culture within Phasor Engineering. We’re seeking someone with at least five years of experience in health and safety, ideally within the utility industry, and the National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) certification is a must.
