Ultrasound Tech, PRN

As an Ultrasound Tech at our company, you will operate ultrasound equipment to perform various diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures. You'll be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care while demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology.

To work as an Ultrasound Tech at our company, you should be a graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or have equivalent experience. Additionally, it's required to become registered by the ARDMS within six months of hire, with preferred qualifications including BLS certification and previous experience in the field.

No previous experience is required for the Ultrasound Tech, PRN position at our company. We welcome new graduates from accredited programs as well as those with equivalent experience who are eager to learn and grow in their careers.

As an Ultrasound Tech at our company, you will provide care for a wide range of patients, including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics. This diversity allows you to enhance your skills and provide compassionate care to all age groups.

After joining our company as an Ultrasound Tech, you are required to become registered by the ARDMS within six months of employment. Additionally, if you are focused on vascular ultrasound work, you'll need to obtain either RVT or RVS credentials during that time.

To ensure quality in ultrasound examinations, I focus on following established protocols, continuously staying updated on best practices, and effectively communicating with the medical team and patients. I also perform quality checks on the equipment to maintain accurate diagnostic results.

While I may not yet have hands-on experience, I am well-versed in various ultrasound technologies from my training. I'm eager to apply and expand this knowledge in a clinical setting, learning under the guidance of experienced colleagues.
