IT Application Engineer

The IT Application Engineer will work to understand and develop high quality solutions in the corporate business applications and employee lifecycle management domain. They will have a proficient level of application knowledge and be able to use their own initiative to develop and improve on procedures and processes. Additionally, they will explore and implement AI-driven technologies to enhance efficiency, automate workflows, and improve decision-making in business tools.

  • Develop and support solutions within an enterprise application and integrations 
  • Work with internal teams and stakeholders to implement AI and automation technologies that improve user experience, efficiency, and optimize business operations
  • Research, evaluate, and integrate AI-powered tools to enhance business applications and automate workflows
  • Identify AI-powered solutions to improve efficiency and user experience across business applications
  • Stay up to date with emerging AI trends and best practices
  • Stay informed on AI trends, emerging business applications, and automation technologies
  • Collaborate as a technical expert in employee lifecycle management, AI-driven automation, and business applications
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices when designing solutions
  • Provide internal technical support within the domain, working with internal teams and third-party vendors
  • Automate processes for improved efficiency, security, and scalability
  • Analyze, develop, and deliver quality solutions to business stakeholders
  • Monitor and manage updates for business applications, ensuring seamless integration of AI-driven features
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to build solutions that meet business needs and ambition
  • Execute defined tasks and procedures across a range of technologies and applications
  • Work across the business, often with others, on projects and programs of work which deliver value to our business stakeholders
  • Create new procedures and documents solutions


Does this sound like you?
  • Familiarity with AI APIs, such as OpenAI, Google AI, or similar
  • Understanding of AI-driven workflow automation and its application in enterprise environments
  • 3+ years engineering experience with business applications and employee lifecycle management
  • Proficient knowledge of compliance and security requirements when working with access control policies
  • Experience working within processes to deliver defined solutions
  • Strong understanding of employee lifecycle management, including onboarding, offboarding, promotions, and related data flows.
  • Level 2 support in troubleshooting support issues
  • Experience working as part of a team, as well as the ability to lead and manage tasks independently
  • Working with others within a solution lifecycle
  • Experience working collaboratively with stakeholders across business functions
  • Experience with scripting/programming (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is an advantage
  • Ability to support solutions across the application lifecycle, from gathering requirements to implementation and ongoing support
