Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and Planned Parenthood Action Fund (PPAF) seek a dedicated and dependable foundation fundraising Coordinator of Foundation Relations and Philanthropic Communications. This job reports to the Director in the Foundation Relations and Donor Communications department of PPFA, which raises and stewards funds from PPFA’s foundation partners and other top donors.
Purpose:
The Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and other support as an integral member of the Foundation Relations Leadership and Operations Team. The Coordinator contributes to the integrity of donor communications and records, resulting in positive donor experience and maximized revenue.
Delivery:
• Provide administrative support to Planned Parenthood’s Foundation Relations and Philanthropic Communications departments
• Process pledges, payments, and related gift correspondence to ensure proper coding and tracking
• Tack invoices and credit card expenses
• Verify proper recording of expenses and revenue
• Support grant writers and frontline fundraisers in documenting all fundraising activity in database and hard files
• Schedule meetings, including donor meetings in coordination with the Office of the President and other organizational leaders
• Maintain accurate donor files — both paper and electronic — including donor and revenue tracking spreadsheets and donor database management as well as hard copies as required for legal and/or donor compliance
• Assist in the preparation of proposals, reports, briefings, correspondence, gift acknowledgments, donor/prospect meeting briefings, event briefings, and/or donor mailings — including gathering executive leadership signatures and other official documentation as needed
• Support PPFA’s participation in the Combine Federal Campaign and state workplace giving campaigns, including the submission of proposals and marketing materials, working closely with the Operations Manager, as needed
• Guide high-touch mass donor communications through review and send process
• Proofread donor proposals, reports, and other communications as needed
• Other projects and duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
• 1-3 years of professional experience preferred — in nonprofits, fundraising, and/or foundation grants a plus
• College degree or equivalent related work experience
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google suites of products
• Knowledge of Salesforce a plus
• Analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to multitask, learn, and process new information quickly
• Working knowledge of the issues facing PPFA and of the operating environment a plus
Travel: 0-25%
