As part of our commitment to growing our pipeline of future leaders, we’re excited to be searching for recent graduates to join our 2026 Graduate Program. 

Dip your toes into something new, stopover in another role. Move around quickly. That’s what the Jetstar Graduate Program is all about – giving you the freedom to grow, steer and make the program yours. As a Jetstar Graduate, you are uniquely placed to immediately enjoy a permanent role, whilst gaining the benefits of a two-year rotational program. 

We’re offering a specific Engineering Graduate Program that will see you rotate through a range of complex projects within the Engineering Team, all designed to develop both your technical and leadership capabilities. You’ll gain exposure across various engineering functions including engineering operations, maintenance planning, fleet technical management, supply chain, inventory management and workforce planning. You’ll interact with teams within and outside engineering, ensuring that you gain an understanding of engineering within the commercial aviation context, whilst making meaningful contributions to our operations. 

Throughout the program, you’ll have access to a range of development initiatives, including regular development days, work experience with our frontline team and regular coaching and shadowing with our senior leaders.  As you approach completion of the 2-year program, we’ll partner with you to land you a role that ensures that your Jetstar career continues to soar. 
  
Ready for your next adventure? 

We’re looking for someone who is: 

  • Tertiary qualified in Aerospace or Aeronautical Engineering – in your final year of study or completed in the last two years, with a credit average or above 
  • Able to commence full time employment with Jetstar in Melbourne in February 2026  
  • Confident to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team, ideally demonstrated through some previous work experience 
  • Resilient and Flexible – curious and motivated to always learn, get involved and adapt to change  
  • A strong trouble shooter and problem solver – confident to challenge how we do things  
  • Customer centric and curious in mindset – ready to embrace the benefits of a graduate program and learn about the aviation industry; and  
  • A permanent Resident or Australian/NZ citizen at time of application.
