As a Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselor, you'll play a pivotal role in guiding individuals through their journey to recovery. Your work will involve evaluating, treating, and offering vital support to those overcoming substance use challenges.
Collaborating with a dynamic interdisciplinary team, you’ll work towards positive clinical outcomes, ensuring that each person receives the care and encouragement they need. Administers Screening and Assessment ToolsConducts assessments using screening tools to evaluate substance use disorders.
Diagnoses Substance Use DisordersDiagnoses substance use disorders, provided this falls within the scope of certification/licensure.
Provides Counseling ServicesDelivers substance use disorder group and individual counseling services.
Documentation and ComplianceMaintains thorough, accurate, and timely documentation in accordance with professional standards.
Continuity of CarePlans for continuity of care to ensure proper support when individuals are released from the facility.
