Our client is a strategic marketing agency based in Atlanta, Georgia, specializing in helping businesses establish their brand, engage with audiences, and drive measurable growth. What you will do: 

We are looking for a skilled WordPress Website Developer to design, implement, and maintain websites using the WordPress platform. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of front-end and back-end development, be proficient in coding, and have experience with WordPress themes, plugins, and customization.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites.
  • Design and implement new features and functionality.
  • Ensure responsive, mobile-friendly, and SEO-optimized website designs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, including performance optimization and security vulnerabilities.
  • Integrate third-party plugins and APIs as needed.
  • Create and modify custom WordPress themes and plugins.
  • Optimize website speed and performance.
  • Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams.
  • Maintain website updates, backups, and security measures.
  • Ability to create custom features like forms, searchable directories, and otheritems that would be used on a WordPress website.

  • Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with 3+ years of experience.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
  • Experience with WordPress themes, page builders (Elementor, DV,Goodlayers, WPBakery, etc.), and plugins.
  • Understanding of website security, performance optimization, and SEO best practices.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with WooCommerce, membership sites, or custom post types.
  • Proficiency in WIX, Weebly, Shopify, Magento
  • Familiarity with hosting environments (cPanel, Cloudflare, etc.).
  • Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
    • 10 PTO days + U.S. holidays
    • Paid office closure from Dec 24–Jan 1
    • Salary: 2,500USD-3,500 USD

This position is ope,n to candidates who are both based and residing in Latin American (LATAM) countries, such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
