SURVEILLANCE OFFICER

Responsibilities

  • Observes activities of casino guests and employees.
  • Monitors all casino operations, including table games, slots, cashiering cage and count rooms, by way of the closed circuit television (CCTV) system for criminal activity and/or violations of NJ regulations and company policies and procedures.
  • Records and documents such activities where appropriate and reports the activities to appropriate officials.
  • Monitors property alarms and communicates effectively with responding parties.
  • Completes detailed incident reports and daily logs.
  • Promotes positive public relations.
  • Handles sensitive information and maintains confidentiality.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • NOTE:  EMPLOYEES MUST ADHERE TO THE REGULATIONS SET FORTH IN N.J.A.C. 13:69D-1.10 and 1.11, AND MUST SIGN AN ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF THESE REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS PRIOR TO BEING EMLOYED IN THE SURVEILLANCE DEPARTMENT.

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year of appropriate experience.
  • Good technical and manual skills.
  • Strong math and writing skills required.
  • Strong computer skills required.
  • Knowledge of Casino Games preferred.
  • Effective communication skills required.
