Land Survey Technician

To apply for the Land Survey Technician position at RESPEC, you should have at least two years of experience in land surveying. Ideally, you will have passed the Fundamentals of Land Surveying Exam or be planning to take it within the next six months. Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil3D and basic surveying techniques is crucial for this role.

As a Land Survey Technician at RESPEC, your main responsibilities will include conducting various types of surveys such as boundary, control, ALTA, and topographic surveys. You will also need to research records, assist in preparing technical proposals, and calculate coordinates for boundary corner staking. Effective collaboration with other team members and providing CAD support to the Land Survey Manager will also be part of your role.

While prior experience in remote surveying is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement for the Land Survey Technician role at RESPEC. However, candidates should be prepared for the physical demands of the job, including working in challenging terrains and the possibility of traveling to remote locations for extended periods.
