As a Medical Assistant - FLOAT at Schweiger Dermatology Group, your primary responsibilities will include assisting physicians with medical and cosmetic procedures, prepping treatment rooms, managing patient records, and ensuring that all supplies and equipment are ready for daily operations. You will also be responsible for providing pre-care and post-care instructions to patients and engaging in inventory management of medical supplies.

To qualify for the Medical Assistant - FLOAT position at Schweiger Dermatology Group, candidates should have prior healthcare experience, preferably in dermatology. A Nationally Certified Medical Assistant certification is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software and patient scheduling systems is essential, along with strong communication and organizational skills.

The Medical Assistant - FLOAT at Schweiger Dermatology Group works a full-time schedule of 30+ hours per week, primarily during weekdays, with rotating Saturdays. The operating hours range from 7 AM to 7:30 PM, thus requiring candidates to have flexibility for scheduling, including inter-office travel as needed.
