PMS 397 I&D Equipment Analyst

Position Description

Team Submarine’s Submarine COLUMBIA Class Program Office is responsible for:

The construction of COLUMBIA Class submarines, financial and budget management, shipyard support of submarines, vendor support of submarines, logistical support, quality assurance (SUBSAFE), and post-delivery submarine certifications and test programs.

 

The Team Submarine concept unifies once diverse submarine-related activities into a single submarine-centric organization with the goal of eliminating traditional stovepipe structures and processes that created impediments and inefficiencies in the submarine research, development, acquisition, and maintenance communities. Team Submarine provides improved communication among the various offices that contribute to the overall success of the United States Submarine Force.

In this role, you will:

  • Provide routine administrative support to a RDT&E Program Manager including but not limited to scheduling industry days, coordinating with vendors to develop performance work statements, concept of operations, integrated master schedules etc.
  • Provide critical support in multi-disciplinary, multi-agency integrated product team of professional acquisition personnel across multiple sites nationwide.
  • Oversee collaborative development of requirements and programmatic documents (MOUs, SOWs, Project Outlines, etc.) with stakeholders.
  • Research and identify outside vendors for the manufacturing and acquisition of submarine components.
  • Provide support for the accomplishment and assessment of contracting actions.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • An active Secret Security Clearance, or the ability to obtain one.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or a related field.
  • Experience with program management and program management processes including procurement.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Time management skills.
  • Proven excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office packages effectively.
  • Ability to be flexible both in relation to job-specification and schedules.
  • Ability to solve problems.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in project/program management.
  • Experience leading a project and interfacing with an end item customer.
  • 10% travel required.

Additional desired experience and skills:

  • Active-Duty Experience as a divisional Leading Chief Petty Officer or Department Head.
  • Recent experience in Team Submarine.

In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $84,842.18 to $137,867.51; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
