Veteran Ambassador
Location: 100% Remote (US Only)
Compensation: $55,000 + Commission/Bonus Plan & Benefits
Reports to: Veteran Ambassador Manager


Join our high-achieving Veteran Success team and play a crucial role in helping veterans navigate their VA claims process. As a Veteran Ambassador, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective clients, providing them with valuable information about Telemedica’s services, medical evidence for VA claims, and guiding them through the booking process. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, empathy, and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of veterans and their families.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prospect Engagement: Provide detailed overviews of Telemedica’s services, including the types of services offered, fee structures, and answering any questions veterans may have about their upcoming appointments.

  • Information Gathering: Collect essential information regarding the veteran’s disability, diagnoses, and claims, all while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

  • Lead Management: Field inbound calls, manage inquiries through various channels, and update leads in Pipedrive daily.

  • Booking Process: Guide veterans through the booking process, ensuring all information is accurately logged in EHR and processed in Pipedrive.

  • Customer Support Coordination: Coordinate with Telemedica’s customer service and provider support teams to address any issues that may arise.

  • Sales & Conversion: Drive to exceed monthly sales and conversion goals, regularly following up with leads that didn’t convert to improve rates.

  • Issue Resolution: Provide technical support for veterans via the IT portal, ensuring any issues are documented and resolved quickly.

  • Follow-Up: Ensure all scheduled appointments are completed or rescheduled as necessary, and follow up with leads to maximize conversion.

  • Discovery Calls: Answer questions, provide the necessary information, and schedule discovery calls with a Veteran Ambassador team member as needed.

  • Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a sales-focused role (e.g., Inside/Outside Sales, Business Development).

  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

  • Technical Skills: Competency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools.

  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Empathy & Patience: High degree of patience and empathy, with the ability to assist veterans through often complex processes.

  • Attention to Detail: A strong focus on accuracy and high attention to detail in managing leads and data.

  • Conflict Resolution: Strong conflict resolution skills to address any veteran concerns or issues effectively.

  • Time Management: Excellent time management skills to meet sales and conversion goals in a fast-paced environment.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (preferred).

  • Experience with Veterans: Prior experience working with veterans is a plus.

  • Health Care Experience: Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare processes is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:
Along with competitive pay, full-time employees are eligible for the following benefits:

Expected Compensation:
