Vice President of Marketing
Location: 100% Remote (US Only)
Compensation: $215,000 - $245,000 (Plus Bonus & Benefits Package)
Reports to: COO

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Vice President of Marketing to lead and evolve our marketing department, drive strategic initiatives, and ensure that we continue to deliver high-impact, data-driven marketing campaigns. This is a critical role where you will have the opportunity to shape our marketing strategy and lead a talented team to amplify our mission of helping Veterans live Happier, Healthier, Wealthier lives.

As the VP of Marketing, you will oversee a team of 10 professionals, combining internal resources and agencies to execute high-quality marketing campaigns. Digital marketing will be your primary channel, with a strong focus on lead generation, web redesign, and brand positioning in the year ahead. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of both strategic and hands-on experience across digital and traditional marketing, especially in brand repositioning, lead generation, and website content creation.

You will work closely with the IT and Sales teams to ensure that marketing strategies are fully integrated and aligned with broader business goals. What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Marketing Strategy & Execution: Oversee the creation and implementation of marketing strategies, ensuring all efforts align with company goals and drive both brand awareness and customer acquisition.

  • Lead Generation & Optimization: Drive initiatives to optimize lead generation efforts, with a specific focus on Facebook and other digital channels.

  • Web Redesign & Content Creation: Lead the redesign of our website, ensuring the user experience supports both brand positioning and lead generation. Additionally, manage video content creation and maintenance to enhance digital storytelling.

  • Brand Positioning & Repositioning: Spearhead the development and execution of brand repositioning strategies to ensure that our brand resonates deeply with our target audiences, while maintaining consistency across all marketing channels.

  • KPI & Metrics Focus: Establish clear KPIs and metrics to track the performance of all marketing campaigns, ensuring efforts are aligned with business objectives and customer value.

  • Team Leadership & Collaboration: Build and lead a highly engaged marketing team, fostering collaboration with IT and Sales teams to achieve shared goals.

  • Market Research & Insights: Lead market research efforts to identify opportunities for growth, competitor activities, and customer insights.

  • Campaign Performance & Optimization: Oversee the monitoring of all marketing campaigns, ensuring they are continually optimized for better results.

  • Budget & Resource Management: Manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively across campaigns to maximize ROI.

  • Event Planning & Networking: Supervise the planning and execution of marketing events, leveraging these opportunities to network and grow brand presence.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Leadership Experience: 10+ years in marketing management, with proven experience leading teams in dynamic, remote environments.

  • Digital Marketing Expertise: Extensive experience in Facebook marketing and other digital marketing channels, with a focus on lead generation, SEO, and digital advertising.

  • Web & Video Content Creation: Proven ability to lead website redesign projects and create engaging video content to elevate the company’s digital presence.

  • Brand Strategy & Positioning: Strong background in brand strategy, repositioning, and storytelling, with a deep understanding of how to craft messaging that resonates with target audiences.

  • Data-Driven Mindset: A strong focus on KPIs and measurement of marketing results, optimizing campaigns based on data and customer value.

  • Team Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in building, mentoring, and maintaining high team engagement and collaboration, particularly with IT and Sales teams.

  • Startup Experience (Preferred): Experience in startup environments is a plus, as we are looking for someone comfortable with a hands-on approach and helping build new marketing functions.

  • Veteran Services (Preferred): Familiarity with the Veteran services industry or a passion for supporting mission-driven organizations dedicated to serving Veterans.

  • Creativity & Innovation: Highly creative and strategic, with the ability to identify new channels and opportunities to expand the brand’s reach.

Compensation and Benefits:
Along with competitive pay, full-time employees are eligible for the following benefits:

Expected Compensation:
$215,000 - $245,000 annual salary, plus bonus and benefits. Pay offered will be determined by market location, experience, and qualifications. Additional benefits details will be provided upon offer.
