Product Manager

[What the role is]

As a Product Manager on payment and integration, you will be responsible for planning and executing the full product lifecycle, with a specific focus on crafting custom experiences for each user journey, designing, testing, and iterating through experiments, monitoring, capturing, and studying user behavior, collecting, analyzing, and presenting user interest, analyzing and studying user segments, creating data-driven analytics and insights, driving user growth, keeping things organized, and ensuring compliance and governance. This role also requires experience in the use of digital ticketing and commercial ecommerce platforms.

[What you will be working on]

Crafting Custom Experiences for Each User Journey:

  • Establish a clear vision for the product

  • Collaborate with business partners to define the product vision and mission

  • Work out product outreach and promotion strategies with business partners

  • Define the product go-to-market strategy and execute the plan

Designing, Testing, and Iterating Through Experiments:

  • Design, test, and iterate through experiments to improve the user journey

  • Manage the product budget through expenditure monitoring and cashflow management

  • Develop the workplan with the product team

  • Provide sufficient resources for product development, including procurement of software, hardware, and ICT professional services

Monitoring, Capturing, and Studying User Behaviour:

  • Conduct user studies to understand their needs and problems

  • Analyze data to uncover usage patterns that can inform product decisions

  • Research the industry to understand complimentary and competing solutions

Collecting, Analyzing, and Presenting User Interest:

  • Translate the product strategy into technical, detailed, actionable plans for business and vendor teams

  • Understand the developers’ needs and support them in exploring emerging tools and techniques

  • Formulate strong proposals by evaluating the pros and cons of different solutions

Creating Data-Driven Analytics and Insights:

  • Create data-driven analytics and insights for action and to make appropriate trade-offs

  • Coordinate efforts across multiple functions including marketing, legal, and finance

  • Co-create budget papers with the Product Owner to seek resources for the product's development

Driving User Growth:

  • Drive user adoption and growth through increased engagement and expanding types of features

  • Maintain a wide network with key user agencies and central government product teams

  • Participate in public-speaking engagements to raise awareness of the product

Keeping Things Organized:

  • Run efficient meetings to keep stakeholders and product team members updated

  • Prioritize, plan, and track what needs to be done

  • Document key information and decisions about the product

  • Be responsible for securing funding and monitoring expenses

Compliance and Governance:

  • Ensure that the product meets security and performance requirements

  • Adhere to compliance requirements and audits

[What we are looking for]

  • Background in Computer Science, Infocomm Technology, Engineering, or related field with preferably 3-5 years of relevant experience

  • Prior working experience in product management, IT business analysis, application solutioning design, and testing

  • Experience in modern product development/management technologies and practices such as Agile, Cloud, Design Thinking, and Product-Centric Development will be strongly preferred

  • Experience working directly with engineers, designers, and other product managers (ideally at least 3 years)

  • Strong analytical, conceptualization, and problem-solving skills

  • Good communication skills with the ability to pitch ideas and influence

  • Relevant certifications such as CITPM, COMIT, PMP, and Certified Scrum Master

  • Experience in the use of digital ticketing and commercial ecommerce platforms
