Product Manager, Ad Marketplace

The Product team uses creativity, research, insights, and operational excellence to steer our product vision across Snap Inc. This team of Designers, Scientists, and Product Managers works in a highly collaborative environment to build the products and experiences that innovate and improve the performance of Snap's advertising platform and user experiences. Together these teams drive value and success to our customers and bring our community together in new and special ways.

We’re looking for a Product Manager to join the Revenue Product  team. 


What you'll do:

  • Optimize ad performance while balancing the interests of all stakeholders within our Ad Marketplace

  • Build new products and structure our Ad Marketplace to improve overall ad quality

  • Build new Ad Marketplace products and experiences that drive advertiser performance, provide value to our community, and grow our broader advertising ecosystem

  • Stay up to date on advertising industry and solutions, ensuring Snap’s product portfolio continues to meet the needs of its customers

  • Define, manage, and execute a long-term roadmap which includes ML powered and data intensive products

  • Solicit ideas and feedback, gather requirements, write specs, create wireframes and workflows, and coordinate cross-functionally

  • Become the internal voice and representative for ad marketplace auction and forecasting products
     

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of ad marketplace technologies and familiarity with bidding and pacing mechanics

  • Ability to initiate projects, execute against defined objectives, and communicate the results of analyses clearly and effectively

  • Exceptional analytical skills

  • Ability to collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, data scientists, and other cross-functional teams

  • Experience with large scale machine learning platforms (e.g. feature management, model training and evaluation, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent years of experience

  • 4+ years of experience building and shipping products at a consumer or advertising technology company

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ad and/or marketing technology at a top-tier digital ad platform

  • Advanced quantitative degree (e.g. statistics, engineering, finance, math) and/or BS in Computer Science 

  • Experience with product design, software development, or interaction design

  • Familiarity with BigQuery, Python, R, Minitab, or SPSS

Compensation

In the United States, work locations are assigned a pay zone which determines the salary range for the position. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. The starting pay may be negotiable within the salary range for the position. These pay zones may be modified in the future.

Zone A (CA, WA, NYC):

The base salary range for this position is $173,000-$259,000 annually.


 

Zone B:

The base salary range for this position is $164,000-$246,000 annually.

Zone C:

The base salary range for this position is $147,000-$220,000 annually.

This position is eligible for equity in the form of RSUs.
